Be part of the amazing Fab Lab community and create stylish products from scratch using industrial machines.

Learn for a month for 1800€. (accommodation and flights not included)
The price for the month is set by each Patron and 100% of the sum goes to them. The platform only adds a 15% service fee at the end to make sure we can go on with the platform and offer you 24/7 support.

Open innovation lab in the heart of Budapest 

FabLab Budapest is an open, innovative and community-based workshop working with high-tech machineries. The team is helping people turning their ideas and concepts into reality with the help of the latest technology available.

Opened in 2011 as the first in Central-Eastern-Europe they offer access to their cool industrial machine park and professional DIY studio so you can be part of a great community of creators.

Dávid Pap, co-owner and CEO of FabLab Budapest will show how you the latest production technologies, how to use the newest tools and how to develop your own project from scratch.

Play, create and invent

The idea of having a place to create came from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Today the FabLab network aims to connect global community of learners and innovators – sharing knowledge and tools through 100 countries and 24 time zones.

Their goal is to provide a toolbox that is suitable for producing any prototypes and unique products of mature, technological end product.

Using good design, CNC machines, laser cutters, 3D printers and other simple tools, you will be able to create nearly any object, big or small.

How it works?

We connect you with the right people. You choose your dream for the month and get the best service from your Patron.

Need a place to relax? –  A fancy loft, downtown apartment or a traditional house with homey feel? Your call. Choose your home for the month freely or ask our Patrons for their tips. In some cases you need to be close to your Patron so our team is prepared to offer you an amazing place to live and do your dream.

Eat. Drink. Repeat – Be prepared for amazing food and tasting all the time – and some extra pounds. So worry not – you will have a morning espresso and big lunches with your Patron. You will cook, you will eat and you will definitely have fun. Want to taste the local places as well for inspiration? Ask for our tips.

Getting Around – Most of the main sights are easily accessible on foot however you can also try the public transportation. You can either buy single tickets or have a travel card valid for a longer period of time.

Suggested daily budget – 50-60 EUR / 52-62 USD (Note: This is a suggested budget assuming you’re staying in your chosen home, eating out a little, cooking most of your meals with your Patron and using local transportation.)

Budapest counts as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. You can explore the World Heritage site of Buda castle, visit amazing old churches and squares, take a long walk through beautiful avenues and have a look at the city from the breathtaking bridges.

Split by the Danube river Buda is a quieter, hilly area – a peaceful heaven while Pest has a vibrant nightlife and atmosphere.
