Meet the Pekmuhely Team – artisanal bakery

Interested in learning how to make delicious bread and fresh bakeries? Bake with your own hands and unleash your creative fantasy?

This is your place to start!

Spend your month with the team of Pékműhely Bakery, work with high quality products and learn all their tricks!

Learn for a month for 1000€. (accommodation and flights not included)
The price for the month is set by each Patron and 100% of the sum goes to them. The platform only adds a 15% service fee at the end to make sure we can go on with the platform and offer you 24/7 support.

Natural and additive-free

The mission of Pékműhely and its owner, Józsi is very simple – a good bread requires nothing more than high quality flour, water, salt, sourdough and a little love.

They created their small family bakery in 2010 with the intention to make high quality, delicious and healthy breads made from natural ingredients, reusing their ancestors knowledge and huge respect for bread.

Savoury and sweet

During the month you will learn the magic of making real sourdough bread with your hands with just a few ingredients like flour, water and a little salt.

You will have a chance to understand the artisan process and dig deep into the science of long fermentation, mixing and baking.

During your days you will also discover how to create and care for your own wild yeast and make amazing products for the local community to buy.

————

Please note if you choose this dream you will have to work 5 days a week starting very early in the morning in the bakery. Be prepared to work hard and get exhausted – baking is about learning by hand, not by talking. 🙂 Only book if you are ready for this.

Rural pause – a different experience

If you choose this dream you will be also invited to spend some days with Józsi himself in the rural environment of Csabdi, a lovely village close to Budapest.

You will have time to make bread in the traditional way and also spend time in their farm with their horses.

Later in the day when the amazing smell of bread covers the small workshop you will meet locals and spend time with them while selling your products.
